All is going according to plan. Yes. Not much else to divulge at this juncture other than the fact that I am currently alternating between my painting and writing. I approach both in the same way; with pure spontaneity. To see examples of my artwork visit my art blog here: www.maniacalartist.blogspot.com

Hello gents and ladies or whomever happens to be reading this. I don't know exactly who has or hasn't been frequenting my website but neither matters much. My Thanksgiving weekend went by faster than the time it took me to eat three helpings of turkey and stuffing. Mmmm turkey. I've been in the middle of a somewhat creative renewal this holiday season and all is going according to plan. I've finally started to paint on real canvas which I'm finding adds a lot more life to the colors I use and makes it easier to stretch and hang. I'm also busy preparing for recording a full length demo with my band, we already have the studio time booked for the next couple of weeks and will most likely spend a good month or so on the whole mixing/editing/mastering process. And of course I am always busy writing my eclectic poetry and circumstantial stories.

I just uploaded my latest poetry book Quantum Quench. You can find it under the FREE E-Books section; it is also available in paperback form on lulu.com. The appropriate link can be found under the My Published Books section of my site. I shall write more later. Until then stay awesome! :-)

I've come to a bit of a block with my NaNoWriMo novel. Though I have been writing as furiously as possible I'm still well under any 20,000 word mark. I tend to get lost in my own descriptive imagery. And I guess I have also allowed myself to be distracted by other projects but only because I really don't have much else to do during this season. This weekend I'll be hitting the recording studio with my newly forged band. We've been on hiatus for the past six months and pursing our own individual endeavors. I am a bit anxious and nervous to get back into rocking out but I know it'll go over well enough.

Oh and I believe I'll be putting the finishing touches on my latest poetry book today and uploading its e-book counterpart. It is titled Quantum Quench. I consider it to be somewhat of a transitional work for me but it is still just as much a part of me as are all of my written works.

Stay loose and keep on rockin'!

Writing a story about somebody writing a story. Can't be much simpler than that.

My new book Flesh of the Muse is now officially published and ready for online purchase! I will post the respective link later. :-)

Had a nice lunch with my Mom today. Ate some fantastic Hawaiian BBQ. I even ate a Mahi-Mahi fillet. Very underrated fish. Then went to Target to browse around. I flipped through some of the paperback books and took a big wiff of that newly printed book smell. I've always adored that smell; something about it just reminds me of how limitless knowledge can be.
I didn't do much writing today. Well, nothing other than this post but I will rectify that later tonight. I know I gotta' at least get down another 1,000 words for the day. Oh I also forgot to mention that I purchased a DVD collection of old western movies. The collection itself is titled Mean Guns. Haven't watched it yet but looking forward to it.

Question of the day: If you could travel back in time to the days of the old west and remain there... would you?
