There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

 Happy Holidays to All!

Hello gents and ladies or whomever happens to be reading this. I don't know exactly who has or hasn't been frequenting my website but neither matters much. My Thanksgiving weekend went by faster than the time it took me to eat three helpings of turkey and stuffing. Mmmm turkey. I've been in the middle of a somewhat creative renewal this holiday season and all is going according to plan. I've finally started to paint on real canvas which I'm finding adds a lot more life to the colors I use and makes it easier to stretch and hang. I'm also busy preparing for recording a full length demo with my band, we already have the studio time booked for the next couple of weeks and will most likely spend a good month or so on the whole mixing/editing/mastering process. And of course I am always busy writing my eclectic poetry and circumstantial stories.

I just uploaded my latest poetry book Quantum Quench. You can find it under the FREE E-Books section; it is also available in paperback form on lulu.com. The appropriate link can be found under the My Published Books section of my site. I shall write more later. Until then stay awesome! :-)

I've come to a bit of a block with my NaNoWriMo novel. Though I have been writing as furiously as possible I'm still well under any 20,000 word mark. I tend to get lost in my own descriptive imagery. And I guess I have also allowed myself to be distracted by other projects but only because I really don't have much else to do during this season. This weekend I'll be hitting the recording studio with my newly forged band. We've been on hiatus for the past six months and pursing our own individual endeavors. I am a bit anxious and nervous to get back into rocking out but I know it'll go over well enough.

Oh and I believe I'll be putting the finishing touches on my latest poetry book today and uploading its e-book counterpart. It is titled Quantum Quench. I consider it to be somewhat of a transitional work for me but it is still just as much a part of me as are all of my written works.

Stay loose and keep on rockin'!

Happy 11-11-11 to all! Hope your day is going as smoothly as mine. My NaNoWriMo novel has pretty much been consuming my November. The plot is quite intriguing and keeps getting thicker and thicker. I've also been writing down some more poetry and will probably be putting together two new poetry books very soon.

Well, I gotta get back to writing. Later for now. :-)

Day six of NaNoWriMo and I am nearing the 10, 000 word count mark. I never actually though I'd write so much in just one week. Okay, I kind of did but now I have verifiable proof that I can write pretty darn fast when properly motivated. So far my novel has an interesting plot going on. It reads pretty well too. I don't think it will need very much editing once it is completed.

The weather in my home city has been agreeable. Cold but agreeable. I prefer cold weather over hot weather. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving because I do have lots to be thankful for this year and I am developing a craving for turkey meat, mashed potatoes, stuffing and pumpkin pie. Mmmm!

Halloween came and went. I've never really considered Halloween to be an official "holiday" but I suppose a lot of people do. Or don't. I am currently participating in the National Novel Writing Month challenge this year. Pretty much just trying to write out an assemblance of a novel with a minimum of 50,000 words. So far my story seems rather... unique. It's not at all what I expected but then again I wasn't expecting much. I'm really just going with the flow and allowing the words to pour out. It is quite exhilarating! I'll see about posting a preview of it perhaps in the following days.

A new book of poetry has also poured out of me. I actually started writing it about a month ago. I've titled it Quantum Quench. The title represents my own perspective of time and its seemingly infallibility. A lot of the poems are short and straight to the point. I suppose I'll publish it sometime soon; maybe even simultaneously with my new novel at the end of the month.

 Stay cool and groovy! :-)

Eternity

Can be forever

Eternity

Can mend

Two together

For always

Always

Keeps

Never look

Behind

The distance

All that matters

Is eternity

I want to write a story about a man who is obsessed with peanut butter. Or maybe a story about a woman who is dumped by her fiance then decides to open up a candy shop. Or maybe some kind of romantic comedy type novel. I suppose I could write a really heart-wrenching novel about people losing their faith in themselves. Or a story about someone inspiring others to pursue their dreams and ambitions. So many possibilities out there and inside my head.

So far I am in the midst of compiling and completing my next book Flesh of the Muse. It includes brand new poems, previous poetry collections which will appear for the first time in print form, short stories, theories, musings, one screenplay and a couple of abstract-esque photos. I am taking the time to organize it and arrange it in some manner of form. I do like how it looks in its present state. All I really need to do is decide on a cover image. I shall keep you posted. :-)
